Send On The Workers
As many of you know I have been acting as Director of WM Communication Asia-Pacific since last June. Have you noticed the slow down in posts on this website since then?
Well, it’s not directly related but things have been much more busy since June. And while I’m thinking about it, just in case you have not seen this great place where I spend countless hours working and ministering, check it out!
The last few months have been challenging for me. This level of management has been a tough transition. I have managed people and projects for years now, but for some reason, being responsible for the entire office feels harder. And to make matters worse, I am still needing to fullfill my previous responsiblities for our New Media department, AND to do project development for our New Media projects. Most days I feel so pulled in numerous directions that I don’t feel like I am getting anything done. We have staffing needs. We have had 3 staff positions which we are trying to fill for months now.
So where does this leave me? Praying! Praying for more laborers for the harvest.
Over the last few weeks we have been reviewing applications and interview applicants for one of our open positions. God has brought some strong candidates. The hardest part is choosing the right one.
My dear friend Brian and I were praying the other morning and sharing about the various concerns we a facing including our staffing needs at WMC. That was Thursday-on Friday we had a visitor. A Christian designer who has been in the commercial design industry for 16 years and is looking to use his talents more directly for the Lord. Sound like a divine appointment?
It never ceases to amaze how God is faithful in answering prayer. Please join with me as we continue to pray for the staffing needs. Pray that we would have wisdom and discernment as we meet potential workers for WMC and pray that God would continue to send laborers for the harvest.

Praise God man! He hears and answers prayer! Keep us posted on how the staffing needs are being filled.
September 1st, 2008 at 8:18 amI read this again after Ricky shared how he was ministered by this blog entry. It is somehow related to this post. This line really ministered to me: One of the prayers that I have prayed for many years now is, Lord, lead me to people who are seeking for a godly life in my city, so that we can bless one another. Then lead me to such people in my country, and all over the world as well. If your heart is completely the Lord’s, and if your only ambition is to glorify God and do His will on earth as it is done in heaven, then the Lord will lead you to other people of like mind, from all parts of the world. He will bless you through them and bless them through you. As a newbie in this homeland, I have the same prayer – send the church/ministry – and it’s amazing how God strenthens the network in HIS perfect time
