Transitions
As many of you know, we have been serving in the Philippines as Mission Corps Volunteers with the Church of the Nazarene since October of 2005. We have always pledged to God that we would stay here as long as He directed. The last 41⁄2 years have been FULL of His blessing and provision. It seems that each Feb/Mar is our praying, fasting, and decision making season as to whether we will continue in the Philippines for another yearly contract. During our seeking this year, we have felt God leading us to return to the US for an extended period of time for regrouping and doing ministry there. Our children will be completing their school year June 2 and we will be returning to the States shortly after. At this point, we are not entirely certain what God has in store for us long term. We do know that we still have a deep love for missions and want to serve God wherever He leads us. Even this transition is definitely an act of saying, “God, send us out!”
For all of you who have prayed with us and for us and stayed in close contact with our ministry, THANK YOU!
We are not viewing this as an ending to anything. Serving God is a life long, full time job and we are so grateful it is so! We are eager for new ministry opportunities in the US and wherever God leads us in the future. If you have any ideas or suggestions for us, please let us know. I will be available for freelance design work and web development and Melissa would be glad to paint you a mural if you want one 
um… my pre-vetoed suggestion… Nampa, of course.
or on a broader spectrum… perhaps the Treasure Valley. What can I say… I just love you guys!

I had this dream nights in a row. That God sends my wife, 3 children and I to Philippines. How crazy is that huh! I never ever had any curiosity or even paid attention to where Philippines was. Not even sure what language they speak. We speak english, spanish and italian. I have a deep love for missions, but never actually “been there”.
I am not even a minister. I am a business man! I will be praying, and please can you tell me more or send me a link to where I can read more about the missionary environment in Philippines?
