Many have asked so we thought we would give you all an update on where we are and what is happening.

Short answer is that we are still in Manila awaiting our Visa approval and our iCard travel documents.

If I had any answers as to why there has been a delay and why we are still here I would love to share them with you all, but the truth is I don’t know. I do know that our Visa application is awaiting the signiture of a specific commissioner in the immigration office. Until this signiture is given the Visas can not be processed. We also know that once we start the iCard process it is supposedly only to take a few weeks but we have not spoken to anyone who got their faster than 8 months.

Finally, I do know that God is good and his timing is perfect. If we had left last September 28th we would not have been here during the recent typhoons and we would not have been able to help our dear friends in their time of need. We would also not be here participating in the new Young Professionals ministry at our church. We miss you all, especially those we had plans to visit, but we know God is in control and our timing and schedule is his to adjust as he sees fit.

Please continue to pray that we would have wise ears to hear his timing and that our visas and iCard would be worked out perfectly.
