Today we sit down to write a special letter. A letter to the friends and family who have so graciously supported us over the past two years as we set aside the life we knew and loved in Nampa, Idaho and charged ahead to the place God has called us. We have been serving the Lord in the Philippines for 17 months now and it also has become dear to our hearts as we have learned how to survive in a new place, got plugged into our positions of ministry and most importantly, established friendships with the dear people who live here.

Thank you to all of you who have so faithfully supported us through your prayers and finances. We have said it many times but it remains true that we could not be ministering in the Philippines if it were not for you!

God has blessed us SO much through you. He has taught us to live simply and to be content while providing extravagantly for all of our needs. Your support each month provides for our rent, utilities, health insurance, education costs, and living expenses.

Additionally we have had the blessed opportunity to help feed the hungry, clothe the naked, encourage the broken, and pray for the sick. You are a critical part of this ministry.

We have nothing to give, that didn’t first come from Your hands. We have nothing to offer You, which You did not provide. Every good, perfect gift comes from Your kind and gracious heart. And all we do is give back to You what always has been Yours. -lyics by Matt Redman, Breathing the Breath

We have an important logistical change this year for those desiring to partner financially with our ministry. If you are NOT a member of our home church, Cornerstone Worship Center you gifts will no longer be directed there. They will now go directly to Nazarene Missions Headquarters in Kansas City. Receipts for your donations will still be automatically provided for your tax purposes. This will also simplify the accounting for all of us and will speed up the funds getting to us here in the Philippines.

We do have an important upcoming expense…plane tickets for our 7 week visit home! We are looking forward to seeing you all this June.
