Busy weekend, tons of blessings

My mom and dad have been here for the weekend. My parents are workers, especially my dad. When they visit, or when we visit, there is usually a project or two to be done around the house. This weekend I think eclipses them all. We were able to achieve an impressive amount of tasks.
- We planned, shopped for, and built a fence enclosing our back yard. Scottie was a critical part of completing this too. It sure looks great and the cedar smells wonderful.
- We created a new flower bed and improved two others while planting 30± new plants.
- We mowed, swept, and cleaned up the yard.
- We primed and sanded part of an long term project to paint our cabinets.
These were all projects which have been on our radars for some time and having mom and dad here just added the incentive. We also had ! a great time working and being together. We love out parents and so do our boys. They are a HUGE blessing to us.
