Closings
We have had a good week. Elanor is doing really well. At her 1 week weigh-in she had regained and passed her birth weight by 3oz. She is a joy to have with us and we just can’t keep our hugs and kisses off her. The boys have done exceptionally with her. They are so proud of her and would maul her with kisses if we did not help protect her, especially from Ian. We overheard Isaiah telling one of his little friends about his new sister, “Her name is Elanor, and that means bright as the sun”. It was really cute.
I have been busy with some site updates. You may have grown callused to that stuck image of Isaiah in the jeep which has been on the homepage of the site since we put it up last May. You may have also given up clicking on the “photos” button in our menu bar at the top. I am here to announce that both our Photos page for image galleries and my Photoblog page is ! up! We will use the Photos page to post image collections of events and outings in the future. A Photoblog is like a daily journal or diary (web blog) but for photos. I have been admiring countless other photoblogs for almost a year now and am so pleased to have mine off the ground. I look forward to the motivation and accountability to maintain a personal artistic outlet when time to paint or otherwise invest in other artistic forms is not available. And last but not least!!!! We closed on our house today! Everything went without a hitch and we ended up walking away with more than we expected. The Lord is good. I can not express how good it feels to open our Quicken accounting software and open the assets panel and see nothing but black. 100% debt free! Wow. I also can not express the panic attacks I have had today knowing that we just SOLD OUR HOUSE without the intention of buying another. God has been giving me extra portions of grace and comfort! over this, so I’m sure I have been protected from the full force of these attacks. Plus I KNOW that I KNOW that I KNOW we are exactly where the Lord wants us to be and we are going where He wants us to go. He has promised that he is always enough.
Just feels funny to know that we are tenants to an landlord in our own house.

October 6th, 2010 at 3:37 am@chels I know what you mean, its hard to find good help these days. People now days just don’t have the work ethic they used to have. I mean consider whoever wrote this post, they must have been working hard to write that good and it took a good bit of their time I am sure. I work with people who couldn’t write like this if they tried, and getting them to try is hard enough as it is.
