Prayer and Encouragement
Church was awesome this morning! Worship and the sermon shared by Craig Hanson were powerfully anointed and Dan and I were both deeply touched by the Holy Spirit during these times. Craig spoke about asking God, “What’s next?” During prayer time at the end of the service we both went forward for personal prayer. Tina and Calvin came to pray with us and felt they had been released to pray for couples. Several other people prayed for us during this time as well and some of those prayers seemed especially significant.
That Daniel and I would be given new feet.
There were 2 functions that these new God given feet would do for us. First, they would take us to places and into ministry in which we have not ventured. This spoke clearly to us in the work and ministry we will be doing in Manila. Second, that they would be feet which would tread upon any atte! mpts the enemy would make to hold us back from this ministry. That these new feet would be used for sharing His gospel in love.
Encouraged to press into the word of God
. That we may be filled up and prepared for ministry as we spend time with Him.
That God would use us as a family to fulfill His purpose.
That God would unify Daniel and I as team. That our children would be a part of our ministry. This confirmed something I felt God speaking to me all morning, especially in regards to Isaiah. Pam shared a word this morning that we would be led by little children and I believe that even though they are young, God is preparing our children to be missionary kids and that He will use them as well. We expect good things for our three little ones.
I received a specific word that God would give me lots of plates.
That these plates would be filled with food to feed the children in Manila, both literally and spiritually. As this was shared with me,! I thoug ht of Arenda and the many hungry children there, in need of nourishment as well as God. I have thought that God may use me in the ministry the Taytay church currently has to Arenda each week. We will see what unfolds once we get there.
Daniel and I are excited and expectant about what God is doing as he “Sends Us Out” and continue to pray the words of that song. That God would fill us with a passion for His name that the world may know Jesus and sing of His praise. We have received so much freedom in Christ and want others to know it as well. As we continue to pray and receive prayer from you, our family and friends, we are encouraged that God is at work in our lives as well as yours. May God fill you up for His service wherever He has placed you.
It is so encouraging to hear these promises again! Hold on to them tightly!
