Sendusout

Melissa and I have been a part of a young professional outreach ministry at our church over the last year called Soldout. An unfortunate trend for young people in the Philippines is to drop out of church once they reach their working years because of the great need to financially provide for their families. They tend to commit themselves to their finances to such a degree that little time is left for anything else in their lives. In an effort to reach out to these 20-30 somethings, Soldout was borne.

We have seen great things over the last year as God has blessed this fellowship. We have seen our numbers go from a handful to around 40 when we celebrated our anniversary last October 12th. We have seen many of our non-christian friends and especially college classmates coming. They feel comfortable and excited about a fellowship like this where they would never feel comfortable with a Sunday morning worship service. Over the weeks we have also seen many of those who begin attending on Saturday night Soldout ministry also start coming to the Sunday worship services!

Please help us in prayer that God would continue to bless and anoint this ministry.
