Support
Thank you to all of you who have so faithfully supported us through your prayers and finances. We have said it many times but it remains true that we could not be ministering in the Philippines if it were not for you! God has blessed us SO much through you. He has taught us to live simply and to be content while providing extravagantly for all of our needs.
Financial Support
As Mission Corps missionaries with the Church of the Nazarene we are responsible for raising our own financial support. This includes all of our monthly living expenses, rent, utilities, health insurance, and education costs. It also covers our travel between the US and Philippines and larger expenses.
Each month all donations to us are collected and sent to us by the General Treasurer of the Church of the Nazarene. Funds received by the 25th of each month are forwarded to the Asia-Pacific Regional Office on the 15th of the following month. These funds are then distributed to us on the 1st of the month according to our approved monthly budget.
If you would like to donate towards our need, please download a copy of our contribution form. Detailed instructions for giving are provided there.
Prayer Support
With each new day living here in the Philippines and serving in ministry we continually are aware of new prayer needs. We are excited to share these with you and we always appreciate your joining in prayer over these things with us! Please take a look at our prayer list below and we would encourage you to print it out and keep it with you. Also, we would love to hear from you as the Lord speaks while praying for us. If you have any encouragement, scriptures, or visions, please share them with us.
Prayer List
- God’s protection over our family; health and spiritual growth in our passionate dependency upon Jesus
- God’s success and favor in our ministry. Daniel’s work at the WMC-AP and our personal ministry to our neighbors and in our church. We desire to be open and obediant outlets for God’s blessing to those we come in contact with.
- God’s vision for the Philippines. As we serve in our work assignments and live day-to-day life we find ourselves searching for how to pray for this land. We want the Spirit to show us how to pray and how to minister here.
- God’s Provision. We are here as volunteers, which means we do not receive a salary. We are dependent upon God for our “daily bread” and trust that He will you provide. If you would like to partner with God in supporting us, please see our financial needs below.
- God’s wisdom and direction as we raise our three children, Isaiah, Ian and Elanor. That God will fill us with love and patience as we train and discipline them to have a heart that loves God and the character and values that reflect him. Pray that they would know God and his love and mercy even as small children.
