Please Pray
We are down to the last few days in Manila before returning for our short ‘home assignment’ and we have a few things we would like you all to be praying over with us.
Unfortunately we have 1 urgent request. Our missionary visas which have been in process since last March STILL have not been approved and cleared. The guy helping us with them sat in the official’s office who issues the stamps all day only to find out at 5:45 this evening that there is a problem with my visa that needs to be taken care of before they can be cleared. This little problem supposedly takes 3-5 days to take care of, which we do not have. Please pray that the officials dealing with our passport would give them favor and not be given to corruption and that we would receive our passports no later than 2 days from now, stamped and ready to go.
We could also use prayer in our final stages of packing and moving houses as we are being transfered to another for our second term. This house is still receiving some repairs and painting as we speak so it looks like it will be last minute before we can move anything over. Please pray all of this will come together smoothly over the next 48 hours and we will be able to move Wednesday as scheduled without any problems.
Finally, please pray for us as we travel next Thursday. It will be a LONG 24 hours for the kids and mom and dad. Pray the kids will travel well and we will breeze through all the lines, transfers, security, stopovers, and waiting periods.
We love you all and are looking forward to seeing many of you.
