We have a wonderful friend named Liz Hollenberg. She worked with me at WMC-AP for about 16 months as a volunteer doing things from production, to writing and program development. During this time she also became a dear friend of ours. Our kids still ask us when Liz is coming over to play.

One of the blessings of missions work is fund raising in order to ensure support for your ministry and living expenses while overseas. You all know this so well because of the miraculous support you provide for our family each month.

Liz is in the U.S. right now raising funds for a second term as volunteer with us at WMC-AP. Here is a note she posted on her Facebook today.

The bible talks again and again about being a cheerful giver, about the body of Christ, each part playing its role in the bigger picture, and that’s what i want to encourage anyone who reads this to do. Pray about what role God wants you to play, see what you can do, either by going or supporting those that go and get involved one way or another!

Personally, i’m trying to get back to the Philippines, working on developing training materials to help equip people to better use technology in reaching out locally and globally, things like church media, presentations, writing of different kinds, making video and audio programs that can speak where others can’t reach. I’m excited about this and am living in expectation of being able to do this in the coming months. Want to help?
